Wow, wow, wow. People- Sorry about the megalong hiatus! Well, I have some news for all of you, for some its good, for some it's bad. Well, the fact is, I have moved on. No more Hello! Project for me. But don't worry, I still love Japanese music. Japanese rock that is! So, for all of you j-rock fans, here are some wonderful songs that just happen to be sung by girls (hence the title "girl rock") Enjoy!

Okay- the only rules are 1) Support the artists! Delete the files within 24 hours, damnit! 2) Support us at harajuka girls. We do this to make you happy. Make us happy by spreading the news of our return.
That will be all.

AYA- Sentaku no Asa (Japanese Version)
Genre: Rocky Ballad
Language: Japanese with some English
Rating: 5/5
This song is so sad! It makes me want to cry and lash out in anger at the same time. I mean- you can just feel the tears and the screams flowing out of this woman. I love it!

AYA- Kinjirareta Uta
Genre: Rock
Language: Japanese with, like, two lines of English
Rating: 5/5
Wow, wow, wow! How does Aya do it? The song starts out like one of the songs I skip when I'm listening to a cd. And then, gradually, it gets faster and faster until it rocks your socks off! Amazing stuff, guys.

Anna Tsuchiya- Ah Ah
Genre: Rock
Language: English
Rating: 5/5
You HAVE to download this. The half of my heart that doesn't go out to AYA goes out to Anna. She is so talented. This song combines the vocals of a hip-hop song with heavy guitarsadded to it. Although, the lyrics aren't quite making sense to me yet, she speaks in clear english for a japanese girl. I do love the accents, though. Oh, plus- this girl is also the star of the award winning movie Kamikaze Girls. So, DOWNLOAD!

Mika Nakashima- My Medicine
Genre: Popish Rock
Language: English
Rating: 4/5
My favorite song from her NANA single. Her vocals are so unique, I love her sound. I swear, this song has, like, 5 time signatures. It is so... different. I don't know how to explain it. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because of the chorus. I swear, she is trying to be an opera singer or someting. Oh well, the rest of the song is a 5 in my book.

Next to come- Ayumi's new single- Bold and Delicious, some Psycho le Cemu, and whatever else I feel like uploading.

Ps- As soon as my new playlist reaches potential size, I will be posting it for requests
